We are seeking a VP of Sales and Customer Success to be a key player in our leadership team. In this role reporting directly to the co-CEO, you'll lead and manage the global Sales and Customer Success teams, develop and execute effective sales strategies, oversee Customer Success operations, analyze sales data and customer feedback for strategic decisions, collaborate cross-functionally, and provide leadership and mentorship to the teams.

Key qualifications for success include proven experience in leadership roles within Sales and Customer Success, a track record of driving revenue growth and improving customer satisfaction, excellent leadership and communication skills, an analytical mindset, familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools, and a strategic orientation aligning Sales and Customer Success with overall business objectives.

Key requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, 5 or more years of experience in leadership roles within Sales and Customer Success, demonstrated success in an omni-channel environment selling both software and hardware products, and a proven ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve targets.

Your mission
  • Lead and manage the Global Sales and Customer Success teams on European and North American continents.
  • Implement and oversee sales strategies in an omni-channel environment, encompassing direct sales, B2B sales, and international markets for both hardware and software products
  • Manage international teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  • Facilitate effective communication within the team and with international clients.
  • Oversee Customer Success operations, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Utilize and maintain a CRM system to track and analyze sales performance.
  • Support team by being present in the office in Leinfelden-Echterdingen 3 to 5 days a week.
  • Engage in international travel as required.
  • Work closely with the VP of Marketing to align sales strategies with marketing initiatives.
  • Work closely with the VP of Finance to align sales strategies with financial goals.
  • Report directly to the co-CEO, providing regular updates on departmental performance.
Your profile
 About you
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Proven experience managing sales in an omni-channel environment.
  • Equally comfortable operating on a strategic level and operational level.
  • Comfortable with hands-on approach, being a "Do-er" rather than just a manager.
  • Great communicator and team player across different cultures, languages and time zones.
  • Enthusiastically committed to providing training and mentorship, fostering growth and development among team members.

 Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales and Customer Success roles.
  • 5+ years of experience managing people, preferably internationally.
  • Broad experience selling both physical and digital products in an omni-channel environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Industrial Engineering or equivalent field.
  • Broad experience with CRM and ERP systems.
  • Previous Startup or tech experience or other fast-paced environments.

 Nice to have
  • Experience with some of our tech stack: Shopify, HubSpot, Zendesk, Netsuite, Google Workspace, Slack.
  • Have a love for creating sawdust and building great woodworking projects.
